But this time CSK did not show interest in him, but now Rahane has forced Chennai to hold their head. Ajinkya Rahane proved to be the death of bowlers in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Even though Rahane fell victim to nervous nineties, he surprised everyone with his game.

Rahane missed the century:
Ajinkya Rahane missed out on a century in the match. Andhra Pradesh had put up 225 runs on the scoreboard thanks to KS Bharat’s 93-run innings. In response to this, Mumbai’s batting was spectacular. Ajinkya Rahane caught everyone’s attention with his explosive innings while playing for CSK. He gave the credit for this to MS Dhoni and played an important role in helping the team win the title. This time KKR has placed a bet on Rahane. In the mega auction, the Kolkata Knight Riders bought him for Rs 1.5 crore.
