New Delhi: India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who will be leading India’s bowling attack in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a five-match Test Series against Australia, the star pacer took to Instagram on November 10 (Sunday) to post a picture with of him with South African bowler Dale Steyn. The 30-year-old Indian pacer captioned the post “Goat” and within no time the picture went viral on the internet.

The legendary South African Pacer Dale Steyn, who retired from international cricket in 2021, is one of the greatest bowlers of all time and the star bowler holds the record for taking the most wickets in the five-day format of for South Africa.

Jasprit Bumrah never got a chance to share a dressing room with Dale Steyn during his playing days, as the Proteas star pacer never played for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL and Bumrah has only played for the Mumbai-based franchise in the cash-rich league.

In Rohit Sharma’s absence, Jasprit Bumrah can captain the team. Let us tell you that Bumrah has been made the vice-captain for the Border Gavaskar series to be held in Australia. Therefore, he can be seen captaining in the Perth Test.

Jasprit Bumrah, who has 32 wickets to his name in seven Tests played so far against Australia, is all set to lead India in the first Test of the 2024-25 edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India’s Test captain Rohit Sharma is doubtful for the series opener due to personal reasons.
