New Delhi: Things just got out of hands as Rishabh pant had a heated argument with Bangladesh’s wicketkeeper batter Liton Das. The incident happend on the third delivery of the 15th over, after Yashasvi Jaiswal played a shot off Taskin Ahmed’s delivery and attempted a single.
The two players decided not to run, but Das threw the ball anyway, and it hit Pant’s pads. This allowed the Indian pair to complete the single run. Das was clearly frustrated because runs are usually not taken after a deflection.
