The incident took place on the ninth over during a high-voltage India vs Bangladesh game in Antigua on Saturday. Looking in his flow after a 27-ball 37, Kohli danced down the track to hit Tanzim out of the park. Instead, he missed the line of the ball to be clean bowled, uprooting his middle stump.
Immediately, Tanzim roared in celebration as he gave the Indian an aggressive sendoff. However, Tanzim’s behaviour irked the netizens and they warned the Bangladeshi pacer to remain in his limits. “Dear Tanzim Hasan, you messed up with the wrong man and you will regret,” a fan posted on X.
